Bernyce Talley is a Los Angles native who creates illustrations and comics through the lens of an African-American woman. Her subjects are often strong, smart, curvy women who conjure strength from their experiences and search for knowledge, much like the artist herself. Talley has authored and illustrated comics La Menagerie, Coffee Cake, Bengal & Papaya, and more. Currently she is the artist behind the Latino superhero comic Monty Gomez is the Luchador and working on a new soon to be launched web comic Krackle.
